Toulouse is the perfect city to lose yourself.

This city is on the banks of the River Garonne and if you have a camera you could make some beautiful photographs here. A city with unique architecture made of pinkish terracotta bricks, which earned it the nickname la Ville Rose. I had the chance to spend six months in this beautiful city and even if the time spent there was short, this city will be forever within my heart. It is quiet, peaceful and green - All the things I simply adore. I come from a busy city. Lots and lots of people, too much noise and far less green than it should be or could have been. Beautiful nonetheless. So, the city was a balm for my poor little heart.

The work atmosphere is different there. But because they are different from us, as a culture. We're always in a hurry, we always need to get somewhere, we have to do this and that - but they are calm and do things because they want to do it, in their time. For me it was shocking to discover this leaving so long in such a different culture. But it opened my eyes and since then I became a different person myself. I'm not so anxious anymore simply because I'm not hurrying anymore - nor in decision-making, nor in anything else. Besides the obvious landscape loving that I'm doing, I also had a blast with the people there. In my opinion, the French are not as warm as other Latin countries, but I didn't encounter coldness from them also. Actually, they were really patient with me when I was trying to speak in their language very much unsuccessful. Indeed, every place has its uniqueness, it beauty, its surprises.

I think I love this place more because of the people who were there with me, because the events that happened, because it was there when I started to discover myself truly. It was this city that helped me see through my idealist veil. Even though there I lived inside of some lucid dream I could touch and feel, that's were the reality presented itself to me. And thus, it will always be a piece of who I am and who I will be. I will be waiting for your own opinions and experiences amid this lovely city. In the meantime, I bid you bon voyage et bon courage!
